"We'll work hard to recruit the right players and work hard with the academy. We have talked at length about what is wanted, attacking football is an aim for all of us, a good passing game.
"With ten games left I still believe the club has an opportunity to finish the season on a high.
"I've taken my first training session this morning, Lee Carsley and the legend that is Steve Ogrizovic , who I played with will stay on coaching the team.
"It was a hard decision to leave Falkirrk, we had great fans and players, I gained great experience there, I hope that that experience will help me here.
"I do think the performances of the last 6 months suggest the players do have the quality required." (to make the play offs).
– Steve Waggott, Coventry City development directorHe’s a hungry and highly ambitious young manager and we have all been very impressed with him and his record so far.
We wanted someone who could come in and hit the ground running because we have 10 very important games left this season. But we also wanted somebody who would take us forward into the future and prioritise youth development and the club’s role in the community.
