Nottingham Panthers have celebrated their prestigious win with hundreds of fans at a Civic Reception last night.

The Lord Mayor of Nottingham hosted the event to celebrate Panthers' first Elite Ice Hockey League win since the club reformed in 1980.

The team arrived by bus in front of the Council House and then staged an immediate balcony appearance for the fans outside.

Canadian-born Panther, Brandon Benedict, said the crowd was unbelievable.
