A woman from Coventry whose former partner is serving a 13 year prison sentence for beating her up has released photographs of how she looked after the attack.

Sinead Noone hopes that the pictures will encourage other women suffering abuse to get help.

Derek Robinson was found guilty of grievous bodily harm. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison last week.

A woman who was beaten by her partner has released pictures of her injuries in the hope that more victims of domestic abuse will come forward.

Sinead Noone from Coventry suffered a fractured cheek, broken nose and black eyes following a row on Valentines Day last year.

Her partner has been jailed for 13 years.
