Kidderminster Harriers make a statement following the bus attack after Monday's game against Luton Town.

"It would be inappropriate to comment specifically on the incident in question as it has now officially become a police matter. If necessary we will do so once any investigation is completed.

"More broadly speaking, the Football Club in no way whatsoever condones any act of violence or aggression and wishes to extend its best wishes for a speedy recovery to anyone who came to harm on Monday."

The two men were on one of five bus loads of supporters who had travelled to support Kidderminster Harriers against Luton Town FC.

Police said that as the coaches queued in traffic about a mile from the Kenilworth Road ground an argument broke out between "local residents" and supporters.

Four local men have been arrested and police are investigating the violence which broke out in Dunstable Street near the Mansfield Road junction.
