The Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council, Carol Pepper, has congratulated Mansfield Town Football Club on its triumphant return to the Football League.
The club was crowned champions of the Blue Square Bet Football Conference on Saturday evening after securing a 1-0 victory over Wrexham.
Five years after being relegated, the club now takes its place alongside Nottinghamshire's two other league clubs – Nottingham Forest and Notts County.

Mansfield Town have been crowned champions of the Blue Square Premier League.
Their 1-0 win against Wrexham this afternoon secured their place back in the Football League after a five year absence.
