A 41-year-old Boston man named Mehmet Ozen has been charged with the murder of two people in Boston on Sunday 21 April.

Charlotte Piccaver and Darren Harwood died in Red Lion Street on Sunday April 21.

Boston murders accused appears at Lincoln Crown Court

The man accused of killing two people in Boston at the weekend has appeared at Lincoln Crown Court. 41 year old Mehmet Ozen faces two charges of murder over the deaths of Darren Harwood and Charlotte Piccaver, who were both 26, and one of the attempted murder of 24 year old Keyleigh Wright.

Mehmet Ozen spoke through a Turkish interpreter to confirm his name and date of birth. He was told he will be back in court on July 26 to enter pleas and if there is a trial in the case that will begin on October 14. As he was remanded in custody he thanked the judge and offered him his respect.

Two murdered in Boston: man charged

A 41-year-old Boston man named Mehmet Ozen has been charged with the murder of two people in Boston.

Charlotte Piccaver and Darren Harwood died in Red Lion Street on Sunday April 21.

He has also been charged with the attempted murder of another female.

Ozen will be appearing at Lincoln Magistrates Court at 10am on Wednesday 24th April 2013.
