A West Midlands Police officer has appeared in court over charges including misconduct in a public office and conspiracy to manage a brothel.

A West Midlands Police officer is due to appear in court today, charged with misconduct in a public office.
Thirty-five-year-old Osman Iqbal is accused of conspiracy to manage a brothel, conspiracy to money launder and conspiracy to possess a Class A drug with intent to supply.
Osman, who lives in Birmingham, was among ten defendants -– seven men and three women – who were sent by Nuneaton magistrates for trial at Warwick Crown Court.
He is currently suspended from duty.
