25-year-old Madaline Cole was in the water around the island of Pulau Perhentian in the South China Sea when she was struck on Monday.

"Maddy, a qualified diving instructor with considerable experience, taught novice divers and supervised dive-masters with a passion for marine life.
She was a devoted and qualified conservationist.
Since 2011 she worked on projects with the whale-shark and turtle conservation programmes in the Seychelles."
