The baby Zoe Black, was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre on Sunday but was pronounced dead on arrival. 39 year old Amy Elizabeth Black, will appear later.

A Nottingham woman has been charged with murder after the death of her seven-month-old daughter.

Emergency services were called to the Bestwood Park estate on Sunday.

The baby, formally identified as Zoe Black, was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre but was pronounced dead on arrival.

39-year-old Amy Elizabeth Black, of Ketton Close, Bestwood Park, is due to appear in court later this morning.

Police have been given until 11 o'clock this evening to question a 39-year-old woman over the death of a seven-month-old baby girl in Nottingham.
