Markets have existed on the site of the Bullring since the Middle Ages. The current centre was completed in 2003 and since then has welcomed more than 400 million shoppers and visitors through its doors.
The Bullring in Birmingham today celebrates its 10th birthday. The £500 million regeneration scheme transformed Birmingham city centre and established the city as one of the top UK retail destinations.
Since it opened, the centre has welcomed 400 million visitors and played a vital role in the local economy. On opening, the scheme brought 90 new retailers to Birmingham, including Selfridges.
