Arts festival weekender draws to a close

Thousands of people have turned out to enjoy the final day of arts and culture events as part of the 4 Squares weekender in Birmingham.

The three-day festival, which finishes today, has included dozens of performances taking place in Victoria, Centenary, Chamberlain and Oozells Squares.

Dance, music and circus tricks on offer at 4 Squares

Fourteen different theatre groups, artists, orchestras and other arts and cultural groups have joined forces for the 4 Squares weekender in Birmingham.

Performances from the Hippodrome, the Museums Trust, Birmingham Opera Company, CBSO, and mac Birmingham are among those taking place in the city centre today and tomorrow.

Dance, music and even circus events from the NoFit State Circus can all be found across Victoria, Oozells, Centenary and Chamberlain Squares.

The event is being held to celebrate the opening of the new Library of Birmingham.
