Police have arrested a man after two men in their 20s were stabbed in Birmingham.

Officers have cordoned off part of Coventry Road in Digbeth as part of their investigation.

“A man has been arrested after two men believed to be in their 20s attended hospital with stab injuries this afternoon.

“Officers became aware of the incident when they stopped a speeding vehicle on its way to hospital.

"An injured man was found in the car and was then rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

“A second man also then attended hospital having suffered a stab wound."
