Drivers should plan their journeys in Nottingham in advance of Saturday 28th September, when overnight work takes place to install bridges on two key routes.
Roads affected by delays
A52 will be closed between the Dunkirk Roundabout and Queens Medical Centre from 8pm Saturday 28th September to 6am Sunday 29th September.
A453 closed between M1 and Clifton from 8pm Saturday 28th September to 6am Sunday 29th September. (This will be part of an ongoing programme of works that will be repeated every Saturday night until the New Year.)
The bridges will be reopened in time for the Robin Hood Marathon on Sunday.
Transport bosses are warning people in Nottingham that road closures will be in place this weekend, with parts of the A52 and A453 being closed overnight on Saturday whilst work to build new bridges gets underway.

A new tram bridge weighing more than 1000 tons will be wheeled into place over the ring road by the QMC, meaning every weekend until Christmas the A453 will be closed overnight whilst bridge structures are built.
