Caroline Loweth, 49, has been charged with his murder, and will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court today.

Woman arrested after man with stab wounds dies

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found in a Wolverhampton flat, with fatal stab wounds.

Police and ambulance crews attended the flat in Market Square, in the city centre at around 1.45pm yesterday afternoon. The man died at the flat while medics were trying to save him.

A 49-year-old woman has been arrested, and is being questioned on suspicion of murder. Police have also said they are treating the death as a ‘domestic incident’.

A post-mortem is due to be carried out today. Police are continuing their investigation.
