Nottinghamshire Police have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in connection with an armed robbery at a bank in Mapperley.

The robbery took place at around 3.15 pm on Monday 1st November at the TSB bank in Plains Road. They are urging for anyone with information to come forward.

No one was physically hurt but being faced with a gun and a knife is not going to be forgotten anytime soon by those who were in the bank that afternoon.

Incidents of this nature, while serious, are quite rare. Patrols have been increased in the area to provide reassurance to both residents and the business community, as well to deter further crime.

Nottinghamshire Police have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in connection with an armed robbery at a bank in Mapperley.

The robbery happened at around 3.15 pm on Monday 1st November at the TSB bank in Plains Road.

They produced a handgun and knife before fleeing with a quantity of cash.

The gun was not fired and no one was injured.

Nottinghamshire police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch or call Crimestoppers anonymously.
