West Mercia Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses to a shooting in North Worcestershire, after revealing the victim was holding his newborn baby at the time.

The man in his 40s was shot through a window while cradling the six-day-old infant at home in Lee Road, Hollywood, at about 10.45pm on Thursday evening, 14th November.

He was treated for a bullet wound to his foot at an undisclosed hospital and has since been released.

A 19-year-old man arrested in connection with the shooting has been released without charge.
