He went to Wembley to witness the club's victory over Bolton during the FA Cup semi-final in 2000.

The Duke of Cambridge has indulged his love of motorbikes with a visit to Britain's biggest bike show in Birmingham.

Prince William astonished thousands of bike fans at Motorcycle Live who crowded round to watch and take pictures of the royal as he sat astride a variety of models.

The Duke has been a keen biker from a young age and currently owns a 1199cc Ducati.

William jokes about 'Livin' On A Prayer' performance

Prince William was reminded of his surprise performance with Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift on Tuesday as he visited a Birmingham homeless shelter run by the charity St Basil's.

William grabbed headlines as he and the pop stars sang a rendition of "Livin' On A Prayer" at an event at Kensington Palace in aid of charity.

His hosts in Birmingham were quick to remind him of his unplanned performance, with one urging him: "You haven't rapped yet?"

William laughed: "I draw the line there."


Duke of Cambridge visits Birmingham homeless shelter

The Duke of Cambridge has praised the work being done to help young people at risk of ending up living on the street during a visit to a homeless shelter in Birmingham.

The facility - part of a network of centres in the Midlands - offers a safe, supported environment, accommodation and access to training and education, and the Duke told his hosts he was "bowled over" by the charity's work after meeting the young residents.
