A motor race near Droitwich, that has not taken place for nearly half a century, could return if campaigners get enough support to persuade the Motorsport Association to bring it back.
Rod Spollon, hotel owner, told ITV News Central the race 'had its own heart in motoring history'.
The Chateau Impney Hill Climb ran annually, from 1957 to 1967, when a variety of cars would race around the course in the grounds of the house.

The route for the Chateau Impney Hill Climb race would be longer and safer than during the 1950s and 1960s, according to the people behind plans to bring it back.
The new course, that runs along roads in the grounds of the estate, is double the 550 yard distance that used to be run.
