Police searching for a missing father and baby have arrested a man in Walsall.

The moment a missing nine-week-old baby was found by police has been captured on camera.

Earlier this afternoon police confirmed that missing Lana-Mai Bates had been found safe and well at a house in Pleck in Walsall.

An appeal was launched to help find the missing baby and urgent enquiries were made by officers in the local area.

The baby was handed over to detectives on the same street as she went missing around 14 hours after she disappeared.

Police confirm missing baby found and man arrested

Police have confirmed that a 9-week-old baby has been found safe and well at an address in Pleck, Walsall.

Stuart Adams, 30, was arrested after a short chase on foot, and has been detained on suspicion of assault.

The baby, Lana-Mai Bates, has been taken to hospital for further checks.
