Police have thanked the public after a 13-year-old boy who went missing from his home in Birmingham has been found.

Police 'very worried' for missing teenage boy

Police are urging the public to help in the search for a 13-year-old boy from Birmingham, who's been missing from his home since Saturday night.

Munasar Jiniqow sneaked out of his parents' home in Edgbaston on Saturday night but hasn't been seen since.

Inspector Andrew Tanner, from Birmingham South police said:

"This behaviour is out of character for Munasar as he has not been missing before. We are very worried about him and need to make sure that he is safe and well. Anyone who sees Munasar, knows of his whereabouts, or has information to help us trace him is urged to contact us as soon as possible.

Police are searching for a 13-year-old boy who's been missing from his home in Edgbaston in Birmingham since Saturday night.

Munasar Jiniqow sneaked out of his parents' house in Sandon Road after they told him he couldn't go to an event at the Library of Birmingham.

Munasar failed to return home and was later reported as missing to police. His concerned family have not heard from him since.

Anyone who may have seen Munasar is asked to contact West Midlands Police on the 101 number.
