M6 Southbound reopened at 3am this morning

M6 Southbound remained closed until 3am this morning after a serious accident between J3 A444/B4113 (Nuneaton/Bedworth/Coventry) and J2 M69/A46 (Coventry) after a serious collision yesterday morning.

The Highways Agency have confirmed that the M6 Southbound remains closed between junction 2 and 3 with the earliest opening time thought to be 5pm.

This is due to a serious accident earlier this morning.

3 HGVs and 1 car were caught up in a four car pile up. Two people have been seriously injured in the collision.
