A fisherman from Birmingham has captured the moment a Great White Shark swam alongside his boat while he was fishing in South Africa.
On a different occasion, 55-year-old Andy Hales was fishing for tuna in a spot nearby and an 18ft Great White Shark took his line.
Andy told us: "“I would describe it as exhilarating rather than unnerving. Having sharks as long as 18ft circling you is a hell of an experience. It’s not just the length which leaves you astounded. Some of them are just huge – the width was like a wide office desk. They’re incredible.”
A man from Birmingham caught a Great White shark weighing almost two tonnes while fishing in South Africa.
The 18ft shark took two hours two reel in and towed the boat that Andy Hales was using for two miles.
Andy from Coleshill said: “It was Jaws-like – other people were saying things like, ‘I think we need a bigger boat!’’
