Police have closed off Lyndhurst Road in Sneinton in Nottingham following the death of a man found in the back of a bin lorry.

Officers were called to the lorry which was parked outside a Dental Practice at 5:10am. Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.

Police aren't treating bin lorry death as suspicious

Police in Nottingham say they're not treating the death of a man found in the back of a dustbin lorry this morning as suspicious.

Officers were called to Lyndhurst Road in Sneinton Dale shortly after 5:10am, after reports a man was in the back of the vehicle.

He was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre where he later died. Lyndhurst Road has been closed while investigations are taking place.

Police have closed a road in Sneinton in Nottingham after a man was found in the back of a rubbish truck.

Investigations are continuing after officers were called to reports that a man was in the back of a dustbin lorry in Lyndhurst Road at around 5:10am.

A man was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre and subsequently died.
