A strike by hundreds of Hackney carriage drivers in Nottingham this morning is expected to cause further delays.

The drivers held a protest yesterday in a row over private hire vehicles picking up passengers in the street.

They say the number of unbooked private cars picking up passengers is growing, which the council disputes. Further delays are expected this morning on the second day of action.
