Around 800 people are expected for the memorial service.

It is being held at the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton.

Mr Jones, who also served as a Wolverhampton councillor for more than 30 years, died suddenly in his sleep on July 1.

The service will be held at the Civic Hall in North Street, Wolverhampton city centre. A cortege will arrive at the centre at 12.50pm.
