Protestors who've set up camp in the grounds of Stafford Hospital have vowed to stay put until key services are saved. A&E is no-longer available 24 hours a day and campaigners fear lives will be lost. Mid-Staffs NHS Trust say they respect the rights of the campaigners to express their views on the future of services and have been assured there'll be no disruption to patients or visitors. Campaigners angry about changes being imposed at crisis-hit Stafford Hospital have set up camp outside the building.
They are calling for the decision to dissolve the trust and move services elsewhere to be reversed.
One of them, Cheryl Porter, called the decision "ridiculous", and said the Trust Special Administrators had "not thought through" the plans.
