The family of a businessman from Birmingham who was found dead in a sugarcane field in Jamaica, say they're distraught at the lack of information from authorities over his death.

Keith Murrain, who was 54 and from Aston, was snatched at gunpoint from a hire car and executed. He'd worked exporting engineering parts, and was found in a shallow grave near Spanish town, known as Jamaica's murder capital.

The victim's mother, Josephine Murrain, says she is distraught with what she calls the lack of support from both the British and Jamaican authorities regarding answers, support and assistance since her son died.

The family say they've only just received a letter from the Jamaican authorities notifying them that "inquiries are continuing".

"My son went to Jamaica on business and was returned home to me in a coffin. I need answers, I need justice for Keith".

– Mrs Murrain

Mr Murrain's funeral is due to take place on Friday 8th August. Read more about the story here.
