Lord Sugar congratulates ex-City boss on rumoured peerage

Businessman Lord Sugar took to Twitter to congratulate Karren Brady after reports she's to receive a peerage.

The former Birmingham City managing director is thought to be among a list of 20 working peers nominated by political parties to be named this week.

Lord Sugar took to Twitter social media to say he's looking forward to debating with his fellow Apprentice star at the House of Lords.

Downing Street has refused to comment on claims Prime Minister David Cameron will give a seat in the house of Lords to the former managing director of Birmingham City Karren Brady.

Brady, who received a CBE earlier this year, joined the club when she was twenty three. She stayed as their MD for 16 years before moving to West Ham in 2010. It's thought the Apprentice star is among a list of 20 working peers nominated by political parties to be named next week.
