All this week we're announcing our nominees for the ITV Fundraiser of the Year in the Midlands. We asked for your nominations for people in our region that go the extra mile to help others and raise money for charity. The winner will be heading to the glitzy Daily Mirror Pride of Britain awards later this month.

Our last finalist in the East Midlands is Toni Bowie from Barwell in Leicestershire. After her partner was diagnosed with a brain tumour, Toni made it her mission to raise thousands of pounds for the Brain Tumour charity to support others fighting the disease. Melissa Wright reports.

All this week we're announcing our nominees for the ITV Fundraiser of the Year in the Midlands. We asked for your nominations for people in our region that go the extra mile to help others and raise money for charity. The winner will be heading to the glitzy Daily Mirror Pride of Britain awards later this month.

Our final nominee in the West Midlands is Ian Northcott from Bromsgrove. Ian's charity Socks and Chocs began helping the homeless by giving them basic supplies, such as socks - and now funds schemes to provide accomodation for those facing homelessness. Melissa Wright reports.

Our next East Midlands finalist is Sasha Karimjee from Clifton in Nottingham who began cooking curries to raise money for her closest friend who'd been diagnosed with cancer. A year later - and she's set up her own charity to raise funds for people in need of help. Melissa Wright reports.

All this week we're announcing our nominees for the ITV Fundraiser of the Year in the Midlands. We asked for your nominations for people in our region that go the extra mile to help others and raise money for charity. The winner will be heading to the glitzy Daily Mirror Pride of Britain awards later this month.

Our third nominee in the West Midlands is Gurjeet Dhami from Halesowen in Birmingham. After Gurjeet's husband took his own life, she went on to raise thousands of pounds for charities dedicated to preventing suicide. She's been talking to Melissa wright about what motivated her to start fundraising.

All this week we're announcing our nominees for the ITV Fundraiser of the Year in the Midlands. The winner will be heading to the glitzy Daily Mirror Pride of Britain awards later this month.

Our second East Midlands nominee is Lorraine Barnes from Bothamsall near Retford. Lorraine's two sons have the genetic condition Cystic Fibrosis, driving her to raise more than £100,000 over twelve years for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in the fight to find a cure. Melissa Wright reports.

All this week we're announcing our nominees for the ITV Fundraiser of the Year in the Midlands. We asked for your nominations for people in our region that go the extra mile to help others and raise money for charity. The winner will be heading to the glitzy Daily Mirror Pride of Britain awards later this month.

Next this week, it's Dora Cooper from Brierton near Rugeley in Staffordshire who started raising money for charity at the age of 80. She's still raising money at the age of 102, with her latest fundraising efforts going to the Midlands Air Ambulance. Melissa Wright reports.

All this week we're announcing our nominees for the ITV Fundraiser of the Year in the Midlands. We asked for your nominations for people in our region that go the extra mile to help others and raise money for charity. The winner will be heading to the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain awards later this month.

First this week, it's Clive Jones from Market Drayton in Shropshire. After being blinded at the age of just 26, Clive has gone on to raise more than £60,000 for good causes - including for Blind Veterans UK, the charity which helped him after he lost his sight. Melissa Wright reports.

We asked for your nominations for people in our region that go the extra mile to help others and raise money for charity. The winner will be heading to the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain awards later this month.

Our first East Midlands finalist is Jo Sutton from Hinckley in Leicestershire. Jo has raised tens of thousands of pounds for cancer charities after losing her mother to the disease and then being diagnosed with breast cancer herself. Melissa Wright reports.
