Parts of the UK are expected to be hotter than France and Italy this Bank Holiday Monday, according to weather experts.
As sunny weather and high temperatures are expected to increase in England and Wales today, tomorrow could bring the hottest day of the year so far.
Predicted highs of at least 23C (72F) could see the UK hotter than sunny European destinations. If it climbs any higher, it will beat the April 25 record of 23C.
Billy Payne, a MeteoGroup forecaster, said the best of the weather will be in the East Midlands, Lincolnshire, East Anglia and London.
