Birmingham hosts bhangra music awards

Some of the world's biggest Asian music artists are preparing for an extravaganza to remember. On Saturday night Birmingham hosts The BritAsia TV Music Awards, a celebration of the industry's biggest singers, sounds and producers.

Many of the artists nominated and performing are from across the Midlands' region, and are known worldwide for their iconic songs and music videos. Audiences from around the globe have been voting for the award categories.

Thousands of music fans are heading into Birmingham just for the event at The National Indoor Arena, and the chance to see so many Asian music stars under one roof at one time.
