A young mother left partially paralysed after a hospital blunder has been awarded a multi-million pound compensation payment. It follows a six year wait for Hazel Spence, who was left unable to walk unaided.
The hospital involved has apologised saying it was right that she should receive the money. Andy Bevan has our top story.
"The panel of doctors recommended that Malala be shifted abroad to a UK centre which has the capability to provide integrated care to children who have sustained severe injury. In order to provide continuity of care, an army intensive care specialist will accompany Malala on her flight."
