Seven people are in hospital after a minibus crash in Lichfield in the early hours of this morning (11 November).
It happened at Wall Island on Birmingham Road. West Midlands Ambulance were called at 04.40.
The patients' injuries have been described as non-threatening.
“Ambulance crews were sent to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a minibus.
“Seven male patients, with an age range in their twenties and thirties, were treated at the scene by ambulance crews, including three patients trapped in the vehicle.
“A patient was trapped in the minibus for an hour and was treated for pelvic injuries. He was conveyed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

“A male, who was partially ejected from the vehicle, was treated for back injuries and taken to the Walsall Manor Hospital. Two further patients received back and chest injuries and were also taken to Walsall Manor Hospital.
“Two males were treated for back injuries and conveyed to Burton Hospital.
“One patient received neck, back and abdominal injuries and was taken to Hartlands Hospital.”
