In the second report in our series looking at the Midlands canal network, ITV News Central's Dani Crawshaw has been to meet a group of volunteers working to preserve their local canals in Tamworth.
The network in the West Midlands is more than two hundred years old but its history and heritage continues to thrive.

A man's body has been found in a canal in The Black Country. Police were called by a passer by who spotted the body in the water at Bromford Lane between Smethwick and Oldbury.
Fire crews were called to waterway this morning. The man's death is being treated as unexplained.r
