Police have named a motorist who died after his car crashed into a bus on a recently-gritted road in Coventry.
22-year-old Kieron Bradnick was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident which happened at around 8:15pm on Saturday in The Windmill Hill, Allesley.
Police have said weather is not thought to have been a factor in the crash.
The driver of the bus sustained leg injuries and was taken to hospital. Around 10 passengers on the bus were treated for minor injuries.
We are investigating what has led the death of this young man.
With this in mind, I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the car and bus before the crash to get in touch.

Man sentenced following crash that killed two people
A man who admitted causing a crash which killed two people has been jailed at Nottingham Crown Court.
Craig Simpson, 42, of Hume Drive, Uddington, Glasgow, was sentenced to 21 months and disqualified from driving for four years.
He was travelling at 80mph along the A6097 near Epperstone, Nottinghamshire, on 26th August 2011 when he lost control of his Saab convertible. The speed limit on the road is 50mph.
His car collided with a Nissan Qashqai of which a family of five were travelling in. The driver of the Nissan, Mark Gallagher, was killed along with Mr Simpson's partner who was in the passenger seat of the Saab. Mr Gallagher's wife was seriously injured and spent almost three months in hospital.
Mark’s entire family has been left completely devastated by his tragic and untimely death. They remain extremely saddened that a combination of speed and careless driving on the part of the defendant were responsible for this completely avoidable collision which took Mark’s life.
A five-year-old girl has died after the car she was travelling in veered off a Coventry road and hit a building. The girl was one of four family members involved in the crash which happened at around 2:30am last night.

She was taken to hospital but was later pronounced dead at around 5.00 am.
The girl's mother suffered a broken arm while, a man and a teenager, thought to be the father and brother received hospital treatment for minor injuries.

The junction was cordoned off by police while an investigation was carried out at the junction of King William Street and Canterbury Street, Hillfields.
The roads have now been reopened but the building remains sealed off until it is deemed safe.
Police appeal for information following fatal car crash
Leicestershire Police investigating a fatal road collision are appealing for information.
The crash happened in Gartree Road, Oadby, last night at around 6:30pm.
The passenger from the Peugeot 406 Estate involved in the crash suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was treated at hospital, but has since been discharged.
A 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the crash and remains in police custody.
At 6:30pm there would have still been some sunlight and we are hopeful that this means that anyone who saw the collision, or the car prior to it, will be able to help us.
