Thousands of people lined the streets of Nottingham today as the second stage of the Tour of Britain started at the castle.

Bradley Wiggins: getting on with the day job
Olympic champion Bradley Wiggins says he is getting on with his day job, when asked if he was disappointed to be missing the parade in London today.
The gold medallist said "we've got our own parade to do this week so, you know, this is our day job."
The Tour de France champion fell off of his bike on Sunday, along with teammate Mark Cavendish on the final leg of the 120-kilometre course at the Royal Norfolk Showground.
Wiggins said he was "fine" following the crash and the team would be looking to keep hold of the yellow jersey claimed by fellow Team Sky racer Luke Rowe.
Today he joined the second leg of the Tour of Britain.
Bradley Wiggins from Tour de France to Tour of Britain
The first British cyclist to win Tour de France has begun the Nottingham leg of Tour of Britain.
The Stage 2 of the Tour started in Nottingham at 10.00am this morning and will end today in Knowsley.
Tour of Britain gets underway
Tour De France winner Bradley Wiggins is turning his attention to the Tour of Britain today.
The Olympic gold medalist is marking his return to competitive action with an appearance at the Nottingham leg of the Tour of Britain.
Teammate Mark Cavendish is also be at Nottingham Castle, as the route heads through the city centre via Castle Road.
The race tour commenced at 10.00am this morning.
