Port Vale footballer Clayton Mcdonald has denied raping a teenage girl at a hotel in North Wales. He has been giving evidence at Caernarfon Crown Court.
Ian Lang sent this report from court.
A jury has heard how a 19-year-old woman, allegedly raped by two footballers, was "very drunk" at a takeaway food shop that morning.
Sohail Aslam, owner of the Godfather kebab shop at Rhyl, told Caernarfon crown court that she fell down two or three times in the shop.
"She never used to be that drunk but she was very drunk that night," he remarked.
Both Clayton McDonald, Port Vale defender, and Ched Evans, Sheffield United striker, deny rape.
The trial continues.
Forensic scientist Pauline Lax in witness box tells Caernarfon Crown Court the alleged victim didn't show signs of having any spiked substance in her blood stream, that doesn't rule out her possibly taking on a small amount at some stage during her night out in Rhyl.
