Part of the M1 near junction 25 has been closed following a serious collision. It happened just before 12 midday today (Fri).
The road is currently closed in both directions and is expected to be so for a number of hours.
Emergency services are working at the scene.
Police have closed a road in Wolverhampton after a man died in a collision earlier this morning.
It happened at around 6:15am at the junction of Stafford Street with Ring Road St Peter and St Patrick.
A black Mazda was in collision with a male pedestrian in his 50s. He died in hospital.
The road is due to be closed for most of the morning and possibly into this afternoon while officers carry out an investigation.
A five-year-old boy has been hit by a car in Nottingham. Police said he is in a serious condition at the Queen's Medical Centre after the collision in Awsworth. Officers have closed Shilo Way to investigate what happened.
