Coventry Bees begin practice ahead of new season

The 2013 Coventry Buildbase Bees team have been on the track at the Coventry Speedway this afternoon.

They have begun their practise sessions ahead of the new season.

The new-look team included seven-times British Champion Scott Nicholls, who takes over as team captain and the return of Polish superstar Krzysztof Kasprzak.

Krzysztof helped the club to the Elite League title in 2010.

Birmingham Speedway signs Chris "Bomber" Harris

Birmingham Speedway have signed Britain's number one Speedway rider Chris 'Bomber' Harris from rival club Coventry Bees.

He will join the Selco Brummie as their number one, replacing Bjarne Pedersen.

Harris is the most successful British rider of his generation. He has been a regular in the World Championship for most of the last decade.

“Chris is the perfect type of rider we want at the Brummies. He`s fully committed and the fans will always be assured that he will give 100% to the Brummies”.
