David Hasselhoff will be visiting New College in Nottingham today to talk to students about his life and career. He is visiting the college as part of their creative careers conference. He has also been starring in a pantomime in the city over Christmas.

Hasselhoff to star in Nottingham pantomime tonight

David Hasselhoff is taking to the stage for his first show in Nottingham tonight, as pantomime season gets underway in the city.

He is starring as Captain Hook in Peter Pan at the Theatre Royal which opens tonight, but is best known for appearing in the hit show 'Baywatch', in the 1990s.

'The Hoff' helps launch Christmas panto in Nottingham

It may be half a year away, but today marks the launch of Nottingham's star-studded version of Peter Pan at the Theatre Royal this coming Christmas.

The city's very-own Su Pollard is playing the role of the Magical Mermaid when it opens in December.

Although unable to attend the launch, David Hasselhoff – who's playing Captain Hook – sent a message of his own.

Baywatch star David Hasselhoff has announced on social networking site Twitter that he's appearing in this year's pantomime at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham.

The actor and former Britain's Got Talent judge described his excitement at playing 'Hoff the Hook', describing it as "HOFFTASTIC'.

He'll appear in the production of Peter Pan which will run from Saturday 7 December 2013 - Sunday 12 January 2014.
