Public given access to defibrillators in Nottinghamshire

East Midlands Ambulance Service have launched a new scheme for the region giving the public access to defibrillators.

It was launched in Broxtowe today. The Community Public Access Defibrillator programme will see the defibrillators put in big yellow cases in places like shopping centres and cinemas.

People calling 999 will be told where their nearest one is and how to use it.
