Detectives investigating the brutal murder of of a 93-year-old woman in Birmingham have admitted they have no suspects.
Emma Winnall died after being severely beaten in her own bed in 2012.
At her inquest, which ruled she was unlawfully killed, police officers said there were no known witnesses and no CCTV which could help track down those responsible.
It has now been a year since the death of Emma Winnall in Birmingham. The 93 year old was assaulted at night, in her own bed, and died from her injuries four weeks later.
Though the investigation remains active, nobody has been brought to justice and her family, and the police, are still hopeful that information from the public will help to catch the attacker.

It's a year since 93 year old Emma Winnall died after being beaten at her home by an intruder in Birmingham.
