Richard III: "It would be unfair to move him somewhere else"

Karen Price believes she is a direct descendant of Richard III, and that his remains should stay in Leicester.

" I really think he should stay where he was buried. I believe it is a desecration of his burial. It's also disrespectful to him, as he was placed there to be there forever. Like everyone would believe that once they have been buried, they would stay where they are. It would be unfair to move him somewhere else."

Karen Price from Nuneaton began researching her family tree and discovered she is related to the medieval king, whose remains could have been discovered underneath a Leicester car park.

She carried out her research using the online census and documents stored at the Warwick record office, and also discovered she has links to William the Conquerer.

She is upset to hear that the remains, if they do turn out to be Richard III, could be moved from Leicester to another site.
