Read the full storyAndrew Triggs-Hodge, ex-Staffordshire University, describes his gold medal rowing performance as "without question our finest piece". He described it as "impeccable rowing" where the team executed their rowing plan to perfection.
He described the four years of daily training which led to today's success for the four Team GB rowers and paid tribute to "every person that's picked us up off the floor after training"
His team mate said that once the typical British drizzle started to fall, they knew the race was theirs!
Andrew Triggs-Hodge was one of the four winners in the Team GB men's four rowing squad.
