Two arrested after a 'fight' led to a double stabbing in Birmingham

Three people have been injured and two teenagers have been arrested following a double stabbing in Hall Green this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 2:05pm after a fight reportedly broke out on Cole Bank Road.

Two people were found to have suffered stab wounds, whilst a third person appears to have been struck with a blunt object. All three, who are understood to be in their 20s, are in a stable condition in hospital.

Two people were arrested at the scene an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy both on suspicion of assault. They are both being held in custody and will be questioned by detectives in due course.

Birmingham double stabbing: no college staff or students involved

The college near to a double-stabbing in Birmingham, says no staff or students are involved in the incident.

Two people have been taken to hospital with stab wounds after what police are calling 'a disorder' next to South & City College in the Hall Green area.

ITV News Central has been told the attack happened in Cambrai Gardens, the public gardens outside the college.

Police have arrested two men.
