The oldest police dog in the West MIdlands has finally retired after reaching the grand old age of nine and a half.
During his time with the police Janus and his handler have made hundreds of arrests and been nominated for countless awards. But now he'll live out his days as a family pet.

His handler PC Dan Thomas says they have developed a unique bond while working together but Janus will now enjoy his retirement at home with PC Thomas' family.
