Jessica Ennis-Hill will make her long-awaited return to athletics this evening at the Loughborough European Athletics Permit meeting.
The 27-year-old, who won triathlon gold at the London Olympics last summer, has been struggling with an ankle injury but tonight she will compete in the javelin and the long jump as she prepares for the World Championships in Moscow in less than three weeks time.

The 27-year-old is struggling with an ankle injury and hasn't been on the track since her victory in the heptathalon at the Olympics last year. Ennis was due to compete this weekend at The Alexander Stadium. Her coach is confident she'll be fit for the World Championships later this summer.
