Nightclub stampede key witnesses speak to police
Police have identified and spoken to five key witnesses in relation to a stampede at a nightclub in Northampton.
Laurene-Danielle Jackson, 19, died after being crushed at the Lava & Ignite club in October last year.
Fellow student Nabila Nanfuka also died from crush injuries weeks later in hospital.
Last month Northamptonshire Police re-appealed for witnesses in a social media campaign, exactly a year after it happened. They say they have received possible names of three other key witnesses.
