Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper, Wayne Hennessey, has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Crystal Palace, after signing a permanent deal.
The Welsh stopper has moved to the Premier League outfit for an undisclosed fee after a decade of service at Molineux.
Despite losing the 27-year-old, who turned out 166 times for the club, Chief Executive Jez Moxey said:
"Wayne has been with the club for a long time since coming through the academy and produced some excellent performances... If we received an acceptable offer from a Premier League club, then we were not going to stand in his way... Everyone at Wolves would like to thank Wayne for his efforts."
Walsall have completed the signing of Liverpool youngster Michael Ngoo, with the 21-year-old academy graduate moving on loan until the end of the current season.
According to Walsall FC's official twitter account:
"The Saddlers have secured the services of highly-rated Liverpool front-man, Michael Ngoo, on a loan deal until the end of the season, subject to the necessary clearance being received."
Walsall boss, Dean Smith, is looking forward to working with Ngoo and said of the player:
"He’s big, strong, athletic and can score goals. He will improve what we have already got here."
Former Aston Villa and Derby boss John Gregory has been appointed as the new manager of Crawley Town.
Since leaving QPR in 2007, the 59-year-old has not managed in England, instead taking charge of Israeli clubs Maccabi Ahi Nazareth and Ashdod, along with Kazakhstan outfit Kairat.
Crawley announced via Twitter:
"We are delighted to confirm the appointment of John Gregory as our new first-team manager...
...John has signed an 18-month contract and will take charge for the first time on Saturday at Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup second round."
Gregory succeeds Richie Barker, who was sacked last week after Crawley's goalless draw with Swindon, leaving the Reds lying 15th in League One.
