Thousands of people have crowded into the streets of Leicester as the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities celebrate the fifth annual Pride festival.
A parade was held, taking people through the city centre before ending up in Victoria Park, where there is music, cabaret and dancing, as well as a fairground and stalls.

The event started with a parade from the city's Curve Theatre just after midday before it made its way through the city centre and then to Victoria Park, where celebrations are still ongoing.
